Mekonomen offers a broad range of quality products that include spare parts but also products for other phases of the consumer’s CarLife.
In the centralised warehouse, there are approximately 67,000 articles for 5,000 car models. Through cooperation with contract suppliers that deliver directly to stores, Mekonomen has access to an additional 400,000 products.
The store network covers all of Scandinavia. At the end september 2011, Mekonomen had 328 stores, of which 224 wholly owned and 104 partnerships. At the same time, 1,621 workshops were affiliated to Mekonomen, of which 1,009 as Mekonomen Service Centre, 389 as MekoPartner, 212 as BilXtra and 11 as Speedy. The affiliation means that Mekonomen does not own the workshops but has a cooperation agreement with them. The average number of employees during 2010 was 1,462.
